Krisprad Pty Ltd

Privacy Policy

Krisprad Pty Ltd (ABN 96 617 342 944) · Effective 4 July 2026

This policy explains how Krisprad Pty Ltd and its divisions (including Krisprad Health) handle personal information on this website and across our products. We are committed to handling personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles, and, where health information is involved, the Health Records and Information Privacy Act 2002 (NSW).

1. Our core position: health information stays on the device

Krisprad Health develops patient-companion software, including Krisprad Health Companion. Health information entered into the current app is stored locally on the user's device and is not automatically sent to Krisprad or a healthcare practice. An optional practice connection processes limited access and security information through Krisprad and its contracted service providers after the user agrees; it does not give the practice access to health information stored on the device. Users control any sharing or export. Each app has a specific privacy policy describing its data handling.

2. This website

krisprad.com.au is an informational website. You are not required to provide any personal information to browse it. We do not run advertising, and we do not use tracking or analytics cookies to build a profile of you. Our hosting provider may keep standard technical logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security and to operate the site; these are used only for those purposes.

3. If you contact us

If you email us or otherwise get in touch, we will use the personal information you provide (such as your name and email address) solely to respond to your enquiry and to communicate with you about it. We do not sell this information, and we do not share it except where necessary to respond to you or as required by law.

4. Health and sensitive information

Health information is "sensitive information" under the Privacy Act and attracts additional protections. Because our products keep patient health information on the patient's own device, Krisprad does not hold that information. Where our products operate in New South Wales, our privacy-by-design approach is also consistent with the Health Records and Information Privacy Act 2002 (NSW).

5. Storage and overseas disclosure

We do not transfer patient information overseas, because we do not collect it. If, in the future, any Krisprad product or service collects personal information on a server, we will store it in Australia, secure it appropriately, and update this policy to describe how it is handled.

6. Security

We design our products to keep information on the user's device by default, and we take reasonable steps to protect any personal information we do hold. No method of electronic storage is completely secure, and the security of information held on a personal device also depends on how the user secures that device.

7. Your rights and how to contact us

You may ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or make a privacy complaint, using the contact details below. For information stored within one of our apps, you remain in control of it on your own device and can edit or delete it there. If you are not satisfied with our response to a privacy complaint, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au) or, for NSW health records, the NSW Information and Privacy Commission (ipc.nsw.gov.au).

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version will always be available at this address, and the effective date above will be updated.
